Many women spend years putting others first in their lives until it becomes such an ingrained habit that they never think to devote time to their own needs, to the detriment of their health. Booking into a retreat may be the first time in their adult life where it was all about them instead of all about their husband, family and often parents and work as well.
Not all retreats are about rest and relaxation only; some do arrange for the kind of fun and exciting holiday activities that will get your adrenaline pumping.
